What's New? Since February 1999 Golden Moments has been fully equipped with the most advanced technological production equipment. From our advanced 3-Chip DVCAM and Mini-DV digital cameras to our state-of-the art non-linear digital editing system. Our professional digital cameras provide extraordinary picture quality with low light performance.
How does digital video compare to analog video? The image from a digital video product is a significantly better picture than that available from an analog video product. Digital video (DV)has approximately twice the horizontal resolution that can be produced by a standard VHS video cassette recorder. The resolution of a DV standard image is about 25% better than that from an S-VHS or Hi-8 camcorder or deck. While resolution is dependent on a products components and circuitry, standard VHS and 8mm video are capable of delivering about 250 lines of horizontal resolution, with S-VHS and Hi-8 at about 400 to 420 lines. The DV format is capable of delivering over 500 lines on horizontal resolution which in turn will produce more rich, vibrant colors.
The Steady Tracker Xtreme is a high performance camera stabilizer system. It allows us to perform fluid hand held flying dream-like shots. The same motion camera artistry and techniques that are employed in Hollywood productions in capturing a breathtaking array of moving camera shots are now available at Golden Moments. The Xtreme allows us to acquire spinning, gliding, running, circle, periscope, horizontal and vertical flying shots which produce smooth flowing images for added elegance in your wedding video production. What are the advantages of a stabilizer? The Steady Tracker allows us to stay with the action while also getting the on camera microphone close to the source. It helps to create on scene excitement and to acquire the 'money shot'. Incorporating the stabilizer into our events has made for better productions by engaging the viewers, because they now feel like they are part of the action.
With our wireless microphones, we have eliminated cables which allow our videographers much more freedom while shooting your event. Our dual diversity systems virtually eliminate audio dropouts to assist in producing an excellent soundtrack for you video. We are now using wireless UHF two-way communication radios with our camera crews. This allows for instant direction and coordination during the event for optimal coverage. |
